Bob Alexander has been a fixture in the automotive marketing business for nearly 20 years. His experience spans all tiers of automotive advertising, having worked at agencies managing national, regional and individual dealer business. A true marketing hybrid, Bob’s an experienced leader in traditional, digital and social media.
Bob has spent his career at some of the most progressive agencies in the country. Most recently, he managed the national Chevrolet Social Media account at Big Fuel Communications. As Group Account Director, he was responsible for running one of the largest social media assignments ever assigned to an agency. Prior to Big Fuel, he was EVP-Group Account Director at Flashpoint Communications. In that role, he worked closely with Ford, Toyota and Chrysler in the development of digital and social media campaigns at a regional/retail level. During his tenure Flashpoint received the distinction of “Preferred Social Media Agency” by Ford Motor Company.
Before diving head first into pure play digital marketing companies, Bob has held various senior level automotive account positions including General Manager-Mudd Advertising, VP-FCB Worldwide, VP-Campbell-Ewald and Doner.
Bob also spent five years as VP Account Director at 22 Squared (formerly WestWayne) running the operations for the Southeast Toyota Distributors (SET) account. While in this position, SET achieved tremendous year over year success in sales and market share, consistently maintaining the #1 Toyota region in the United States.
